from page to stage and screen
The Blue Eyed Kopp began as a collaboration between writers Julia Hoffmann and Travis Leland, who set out to create a new American musical.
Since its inception, the project has evolved through concert presentations, demo recordings, workshops, and developmental readings, bringing together a growing community of performers, musicians, and creative collaborators committed to telling this story.
In 2024, the team presented an abridged concert version of the musical in NYC, followed by continued development through recordings, industry presentations, and a table read in 2025. Today, the project is taking its next major step forward through the creation of a filmed proof of concept designed to showcase the musical's unique theatrical language and introduce the work to audiences around the world.
Part stage musical, part cinematic experience, The BlueEyed Kopp is being developed with the goal of reaching audiences wherever they are—while laying the groundwork for future productions, licensing opportunities, and continued artistic growth.
